Made from traditional sheet metal or from high strength one , they are produced on specifically designed mechanical presses. Thickness up to 18 ÷ 20 mm need link-drive presses where ram speed in the bottom dead center area is extremely low,  resulting in a punch-sheet-die extremely smooth impact and in an improved die life, as well as a very low noise level. Also  bending and flattening at end stroke at bottom dead center are easily executed on mechanical presses affording descent diagrams allowing the material to flow into the die thus getting the definitive configuration with the best tolerances and avoiding stresses due to shock and surface friction. Press capacities up to 35.000 ÷ 40.000 kN
