Presses for car body

Parts of car or truck body are produced on large mechanical presses.

The first press of this line is a machine for deep drawing operations.

Its drive can be eccentric (ram motion according to traditional sinus curve) or link-drive.

In this last case the slowing during the last descent part makes the machine particularly able to perform heavy drawing operations, reducing shocks, minimizing stamping tears and tool overheating.

Generally the automation consists of:

• Destacker for blank loading
• Robots for stamping transport from a press to the next
• Press PLC
• Line supervisor

The die change is accomplished with two moving bolster system.

The moving bolster can go the upright through on linear or T track rails, according to building condition.

Extremely short die change times and extra safe operations.
